The Game Art, Animation & Design Intern supports the creative side of WingGames by producing visual assets, animations, story concepts, characters, and gameplay ideas for WingGames Originals and WETD tie‑in projects.
This hybrid role is perfect for students who want hands‑on experience in both game art and game design, and allows WingGames to hire multiple interns with different strengths (art‑focused, writing‑focused, or balanced).
Create 2D or 3D art assets for characters, environments, UI, and props
Animate characters, objects, and UI elements for gameplay
Assist with visual style development for WingGames Originals
Write story concepts, character bios, mission outlines, and world‑building notes
Help design gameplay mechanics, puzzles, levels, and flowcharts

Mentorship Interns blaze the path for future P‑I‑Ps by helping them start their first game, teaching them WingGames workflows, and giving them hands-on involvement in real WingGames projects — including major studio releases.
Mentorship Interns may lead:
A P‑I‑P game team of 4–8 Punks
A creative department (art, writing, gameplay, tools)
A WingGames project team contributing to a major release
This is the leadership pipeline for future WingGames Apprentices and Department Leads.
Mentor new P‑I‑Ps through onboarding, engine setup, and project start
Lead small teams (4–8 Punks) on P‑I‑P game projects
Guide P‑I‑Ps through gameplay, art, writing, or design tasks
Teach WingGames development workflows, documentation, and standards
Provide feedback, direction, and support during weekly development cycles
Coordinate with WingGames leads to align P‑I‑P work with studio goals
